   if organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, A & P, and microbiology are all required prereqs for you (as they were for me @ my school), then i would definitely say that prereqs are harder.

   If you don't mind hard work, nursing school should not be too difficult. I don't know anything about other patients "looking down" on nurses. The profession is much, much different than it was 20 years ago.
