If you need more support, I highly suggest that you contact your local chapter of the National MS society. They have some great programs, info etc that I found very helpful when I was newly diagnosed. Good luck!
I have MS and I am currently in an entry level master's degree nursing program. For the post part, my symptoms have been under control, with the exception of severe fatigue in the summer months due to the heat. I was in my med-surg clinical and a...
There must be a big difference in the ADN vs. the entry level master's degree program because I study 3-5 hours on weeknights and 8 hours on both Saturday and Sunday. There would be no other way to keep up without putting this time in.

Since I have a bachelor's degree already, I can't get student loans for either an AA or BSN degree. However, I could get funding for an entry level master's degree program ( of which I am just completing the first semester). You might want to check...
You only study 2-3 hours a night? I study 5-6 hours a night, that's after sitting in class all day. On Saturdays and Sundays I study 10 hours each day. I am getting 'A's in my accelerated entry level master's program. Maybe you might consider stud...
My program is super demanding. It's an entry level Master's degree. We are in class 4 days per week and 1 clinical day and that comes out to about 30 hours per week. But I'm studying 4-5 hours EVERY night during the week and 10 hours each Saturda...

I did my pre-reqs at the jr. college and have waited so far 1 year to try to get in, with no luck. In my area, the jr. colleges are a lottery, and on average it's taking 3-4 YEARS to get in, due to the amount of people applying. I was accepted immed...
Are there really any nursing programs that don't require A&P and micro as a pre-req? That seems crazy to me, since those classes are the foundation of nursing!

I emailed ------ in Sacramento and told her that I am choosing the master's case management, so that will open up a slot for someone in the ABSN program. Good luck to everyone!

At my interview for the case management, I was asked which program that I wanted to do, the master's program or the ASBN. I told them I was leaning toward the case management master's. Yesterday, they called me again to let me know I needed to de...

I applied to both the ABSN and ELMSN-case management for Sacramento. I went for my interview for case management 3 weeks ago and at the end of the interview, I was given my choice acceptance of either the ABSN or ELMSN. For my career goals, I chose...

I got into the CM Sacramento program. ---- told me before I left my interview that they'd like me to be in the program. I'm so happy, but worried about the insanely expensive cost.

Nope, no group interview, just one on one. It was really very similar to a job interview. You may or may not be told right away if they accepted you into the program or not. So if you don't get a offer on the spot, don't despair, they will contact ...
