Just wanted to note the situation is not finalized and I have not yet accepted the per diem position. A per diem position was proposed though no specifics have been given. I directly asked my boss if there was someone in HR I could speak to about the...
Hi All, My job is transitioning to per diem for 2 months as I was asked to stay beyond my resignation date. I am switching to per diem as I need to change to my husband's benefits and the only way to do so is to switch to a per diem position. I've ne...

I agree with the replies that state it depends on what area of nursing. Definitely not med-surg, however, something with less patient care might be a good fit. I do think you'd be better served by looking at your current education/experience and seei...

I work on a general surgical floor - we get pre-ops & post-ops from all the specialties at the hospital. We'll also get a medicine patient or two if the medical floors are full. I've been there about 10 months. It is great to see all the differen...

Hi Namo, if it helps.. I calculated that tuition would be $1,762.74 based on the numbers on UF's student finances website so I'd say ~$1800 is correct. Here's the website with the amount/credit hour.
