   Update: Well I will have my last clinical day Tuesday the 26th then practicum which is 7 shifts over about 3 and 1/2 weeks. Then get pinned in August. It has been quite a ride to say the least.

   I am a 47 year old nursing student weeks away from the 1/2 point of my program.

   We were told that it is for accreditation purposes. I have no reason to believe that isn't true. You do not want to go to a school that is not Nationally accredited.

   Just got the email yesterday. I will be nearly 50 when I graduate not quite an old man but getting there. Still I am excited as can be. In the mean time I am finishing up my AA so I can continue on and get a Bachelors (only 5 classes left).

   I am 45 and went back to school in 2000 for IT, right in the middle of my education the .coms fell, 911 hit and I had major surgery. I finished but never did land a job (did some consulting). I went to school full time, had a family, coached a youth ...
