I know I'm a little late to this thread, but if anyone is still curious maybe this'll help. I can't speak for Tampa, but I imagine it's not too much different from Gainesville. For a brand-spanking new BSN RN in Gainesville's VA hospital, the pay s...
Yup, everyone in the group (who is actually in the program or ***) is an administrator; I think that's the only way people in the group can send out messages to the whole group on facebook.
Congratulations guys! Now you just have to enjoy the freedom until classes start! Don't forget to invite your advisor if you make a facebook group. :-)
Pretty sure they did go out on Wednesday as scheduled, as **** took the rest of the week off. They're coming, be patient. Pretty soon you'll be pulling your hair out in nursing school wondering why you were so eager to get there in the first place...
I remember how horrible this wait was! People that are in Gainesville should be getting their letters tomorrow or Friday since they were supposed to go out today. Good luck everyone! I look forward to meeting the next crop of baby nurses!

The requirements aren't too expensive. You'll need a stethoscope. Most people get one in the $70 range, mine was a bit nicer (a cardiology scope ~$150), but totally unnecessary to spend that much. You can get really cheap ones, but I think the $50...
Hey Madden, Good luck! I have a part-time job, as do several other people. It really depends on what you can handle. The first semester (summer for us) was terrible, I would not recommend a job then. The second semester it is really pretty easy to...

Hey KWBella, I used Barron's Passkey to the GRE. It's a tiny little book that's about $8 new. It's small enough to bring everywhere and page through, and not too intimidating to read all the way through. I also used the free Powerprep software ava...
