2. Why does it take 1-2 years to get into a program?

   Does anyone have advice on what school to apply at? I live in Ypsilanti MI and there seems to be a 1-2 year wait-list. I have a 4 year degree but now I want to be a nurse. Any advice would be nice, also, how long did it take for those in a program?
