The worse thing is shiftwork and having to work holidays, although I work/live in Canada where self scheudling is not common. I believe there many different scheudling options in the States, so you might be ble to avoid working holiday night etc.
Being refered to as a "Male Nurse" whould have to be one of the most annoying aspect of my job. I always crine when I hear it. I also feel that I have hearing it less over the past 8 years. I don't feel the name title nurse should change though.
Alot of older patients some times assume I am a doctor, or that I am in training to become one. They should that I'm not a doctor if I'm changing their attends.
In my opinion there are no fringe benefits or danger zones. Just go to work, do you job and go home. No one should enter any profession looking to find a partner.

Atlantic Canada is also a nice area. Although the pay is lower than Ontario, Alberta and BC, this part of the country is relatively safe, clean and houses are much more more affordable and the cost of living is lower.

I belive all European Cell/moblie phone use GSM network technology, must Canadians phones use CDMA technology with the exception of Rogers. So you phone will on;y work with one provider.
