Thanks for the info. It is very interesting that the hourly rate for hospital (and physician office!) nursing has not grown comparably with other professions with the same educational training. I guess we continue to nurse because we love it.
I don't know about the Atlanta area, but in southwestern Ohio, any experience in critical care is considered valuable. Also, being ACLS certified is beneficial. Good luck!
Help! I have an interview with a major hospital in Dayton, Ohio after recently working in a physicians office. The pay at the physician's office was very low for an RN with 19 years experience ($19.90/hr). Can anyone give me an idea of the going rate...
