I try to avoid spelling mistakes but we always get a chuckle at the non medical admissons folks when they put in a diagnosis on a patient. A few examples we got were: 1. Acistaly for Asystole 2. Sinkopee for Syncope 3. Unstable Vagina for unstable a...
You cannot force someone to stay on the unit, you cannot force someone to remove their pca, you cannot force someone to have their iv removed. The best thing in this case is to have a policy in place. You then instruct the patient on the policy wit...
My hospital reimburses for the class and the certification if you pass. They also give us a dollar an hour extra paid quarterly so its a nice little bonus check. So to me it was worth it.
