   You'll do great! Nursing is hands on patient care. Meaning, you have to be on your feet, moving patients & dealing with body fluids. So, physically you have to be up to it. But it's very rewarding & exciting, esp. if you're in ER or ICU.

   I'm an RN & worked for maxim last year(private duty). I provided all care my pt during my 8hr shift. Just like in hospital, 1st thing is assess, document at least q 2hrs, give meds, feed, & keep pt clean. My pt was on vent so I was RT also...
