   Denuded means skin gone via chemical means (urine, feces, sweat). Excoriation means linear scratching by mechanical means.

2. Shoes...what do you wear?

   I wear Danskos, too. They provide the best arch support. They take a couple of weeks to break in, but once they are - they are awesome and last for a long time compared to other shoes.
