   Don't really think it would work but wouldn't it be great if there were a PIA surcharge or a surcharge for ALL the family bothering us at change of shift

   At my facility there is no rule reguarding the # of sticks. Personally I will try two times and grab "mom"(CHARGE NURSE) to help. However, depending on the nurse she may tell you to go do it. Whenb she does this 95% of the time the job gets done.

   No and Yes. I am currently under a $3,000 retention bonus. Hever new grad RN's are offered a $5.000 sign on bonus
