   We are only culturing patients that come to and transfer out of ICU for the multi-drug resistant acinobactor that has shown face to our hospital and that is it. Inless they have a history of isolation needs we isolate and culture for clearance.

   Write about the type of nurse you want to be. Are you going to be caring and empathetic or are you going in to get a paycheck? Also think about how you will talk to patients and their family.

   That has been our complaint all along. I work on a med-surg/cardiac icu step down unit. Primary nursing is 3-1, team nursing is 6-2. A lot of the time we have ICU appropriate patients, so even making sure that I see everyone every 2 hours is sometime...

    I had a patient hang her self in the shower. She used the emergency pull cord in the shower. The worst sight I think I have ever seen.
