   thank you for the replies. very kind of you guys. I just found out that you can get OPT fo the associate degree as well as long as you are a full-time student for at least 2 years... so I will see how things will turn out before the end of year 2009...

   Thanks. according to the immigration law, I believe that you get a year opt when you recieve a new degree. I had a opt for my previous degree. anyway, ryan. what's GC? I will graduate on Dec, 2008. Maybe, I should go for a bachelor's or master's deg...
