  4. NCLEX January 2007 - 75 questions

    I agree, everyone feels that way. I took my Nclex on the 12th and it also shut off at 75. I don't know how I did yet. I guess I passed but I'm not sure. I did great on Kaplan and was salutatorian of my class but GEEZ! the Nclex was hard stuff.

  9. Making a choice of Schools

    There's also NCTC in Gainesville. It's about 30 minutes north of Denton. I graduate from there next month. I'm not sure how far north you live but it may be worth looking into.

  11. Tell us about your preceptorship...

    I start my preceptorship in the ICU next week. I think it's around 180 hours. I'm so excited, I can't wait. I hope to be offered a job on the ICU or PCU upon graduation. Our hospital has offered us ACLS training next month also.

    We go twice a week from 3-11. I'm in a two yr ADN program. I'm in 2nd semester. 1st is once a wk for 8 hrs.

    Most everything listed plus a little container full of Vicks vapor rub. Helps with all the smells!
  15. Nursing Shoes - any recommendations?

    I second that! I have plantar faciitis and the doc recommended New Balance shoes. He was right. My foot used to hurt all day long, now with the New Balance it never bothers me until I take my shoes off.
