   There is a big difference between IT and nursing. You must love to work directly with people to be a good nurse. There are a lot of nurses out there that just want a job. If that's your goal then go into IT.

   I had no trouble getting an RN job nor did my classmates who actively looked. Some of them just stayed at the nursing homes they were already working at. I am working in the NICU at ACH but I could have made more money almost anyplace else.

   I graduated from Galen this past Feb. Their GE classes are not yet accepted at any other schools but several private universities, U of Tampa and South University, for sure, will accept their nursing credits. I am over 50 and it took me 30 years to g...
