i have a patient that needs a unna boot applied every week. i've never seen one applied, and the rn that is over me says she won't do it, it is the doctors responsibility. i don't want jeopradize my license. any comments would be greatly appreciated.

go for your lpn. then work on your adn. for one you'll see if nursing is for you. two, if it is you'll be able to work and make a deciet amount of money while in school for your adn. the state that i live in, the bon won't accept lpn-bsn.
one is never to old for learning. i would have to agree with the above comment, if you want to go into informatics i would strongly suggest you get your rn-bsn and masters if you want to do research. lpn's cann't conduct research. why? i don't know. ...

i would submit my application along with a resume. having a resume handy makes you present more professional and prepared in an employers eyes. congrats and good luck on your job search.
