i'm sorry youre frustrated. I can tell you that none of the students that are in my program enjoy taking HESI's. they're a bunch of crap! and DEFINITELY not a reflection of your abilities of a nurse. Good luck when you take it next!
HESI is no fun. just study the stuff that youve been taught. Some iphone or ipod touch applications help with studying. Ive begun to use NCLEX stuff for everything!
stick with it. i felt the same way going into the program because it's so overwhelming. once you get into the swing of things... you'll be more inclined to stay in.

my perception has changed a bit only in that i am not as idealistic as i first was. Most of the nurses that i have shadowed seemed to be a bit jaded about their patients and definitely don't spend as much time with them as i think they should.
I am looking for suggestions from current oncology nurses on things that i can do to look better to an employer in the oncology field. Ideally i'd like to start working with oncology patients right out of school so i'm going to start the process now....
