I have worked critical care for 5 years, and the only time we have 1:1s is fresh CABG, CRRT or a very sick patient on multiple pressors. You can work on any unit and have 2 patients arrest at the same time.

Your troponin I may be elevated (I've seen as high as into the 100s), CK and CK-MBs would be high. Of course you may have some EKG changes such as ST elevation or bundle branch block. Having an MI wouldn't affect your platelets tho. Hope this helps ...
