Being an LVN was very beneficial to me because I know my medications really well, and I can relate alot better to the LVN's that I work with. They are a very important part of the team and highly utilized here in CA.
I would agree that you are working under your own license. I was an LVN for years;however if a task is delegated to you by the RN then it is under hers.

I had to laugh when I read your message about Hillbillies. I moved here from arkansas (but I am not from there). I am a city girl too. It is wonderful out here. So beautiful. I got my CA license in 3 weeks, permanent one. The secret is to call them e...

Wow. I had no idea nurses would do that. I wrote mine with important points of what I had done and achieved at each job. I tried to make it stand out. I have gotten alot of positive responses. When I write a cover letter I stick to my experience.

I just made a suggestion. I have no idea what your situation is. I had an abusive husband who nearly killed me. I spent 5 days in the hospital worrying about my kids. I left CA and went to Arkansas. I have just now moved back.

I have very bad memories of that hospital. Granted they were years ago but my experience was not good. I had my third child there and the DR was really mean.He cut me and stiched me up without deadening the site plus he was just hateful to me. It was...
