I have been a L/D nurse for 5 years now. I am currently moving on and becoming a pediatric nurse which is what I have always wanted to do. Just got sidetracked in L/D. Eventually I want to work in NICU but getting my feet wet in Peds first

    You have ever stopped for a stop sign to turn green. You have ever stopped at a red light and then went because you thought it was only a stop sign. I have done both of these.

    Cervical exams are definatly an acquirred skill. It takes time. Just keep checking and it never hurts to have someone check after you to be sure. Even experienced nurse do this sometimes
