   cvp measures the pressures of the right side of the heart. co would come down if the pt is overloaded because the pumping of the heart would be weakend

   BAck in school they told me that med surg is a good place to start because u get a lot of different patients with different problems as opposed to a specialty which narrows the field a bit. I dont know if this bit of info helps but hopefully it does....
