   Take care of yourself first (get enough sleep, drink plenty of water, etc.) Advocate for your patient. Never be afraid or ashamed to ask questions.

   I've heard alot of wild things as a nurse. One of the wildest things I've heard as a nurse is a patient explaining that the reason he came up positive for cocaine was because it 'flew up his nose'. He was serious too.
