  1. Got into CRNA school. now cold feet?

You definitely need to GO FOR IT! Especially with finding a scholarship. The end result will be very rewarding. I am doing a very similar thing. Uprooting my spouse, children, selling our home and moving across country to attend school. It's nice to ...
  2. Pass CCRN question bank

I am not sure you can access it without a book purchase, unless someone wants to share their login with you. Maybe ask a co-worker if they wouldn't mind sharing. We share our login with each other at work because our unit purchased the book.
  3. CRNA School Requirement

No, you don't need to work in the state for which you are applying. I've been accepted to an out of state school. You will need to get your license transferred to the state where you will start school, but not until after you've been accepted.

  5. Bloomsburg CRNA Interview

How did it go? Did you get in? I did. Looking for future classmates!

  7. Looking for CCRN videos

Does your unit own a copy of the videos? Mine did and I just borrowed it. Do you have a hospital library? If the hospital doesn't own it, ask if they'd be willing to purchase it for staff. You might need to ask the education dept. I only used Gaspar...
  8. Capped Salary?

Yes, nursing in our area has a cap. Nowhere near what you get paid, but I imagine your area is an overly expensive place to live. My mother was maxed out for many years and would get a small bonus instead of a pay raise. In speaking with her, she was...
  9. CAH or high acuity urban hospital?

I've worked in an ICU for 7 years but recently started picking shifts up at a CAH. I think starting at a CAH would be fine. I continue to learn when I'm at the CAH because I'm used to having all other resources around such as respiratory therapists a...
