Really?? I thought a credit check was 100% necessary for getting an offer... like if you haven't gotten a credit check by now (well, for the Health Service Corp at least) that you were out of the running. Is that not true?

Someone in admissions just emailed me saying they are making calls to those accepted today and tomorrow, and that call will be from an admissions officer "who can let you know about merit scholarships at that time".
