That was my cumulative GPA, my last 2 years was about a 3.5 :) I think for some school your cumulative is what they base the initial screening on though I could be wrong

Hey! I did an undergrad in Biology, but I started out doing Drama for my first two years of university, anything is possible! haha I am finding my grades essentially comparable to the grades I had at my previous school, but that being said, my previo...

I applied to Trent, Queen's, UofT, McMaster, and Western. The only one I didn't get into was Western, my application was automatically screened out early in the admissions process due to GPA.

yes 10, I worry a lot haha I applied to 5 4yr programs and 5 2yr programs and I actually had more luck with the 2yr university programs surprisingly! I ended up walking away with 7 acceptance letters, so there is hope for us low GPA'ers :)

For the personal statement I really recommend have a few people whose judgement you trust looking at it. I find sometimes while ideas seem clear to you they don't necessarily come off the same way to an objective reader. I went through quite a few dr...

Hey everyone, I'm not an applicant, I am actually a first year accelerated nursing student at U of T! I used this forum a lot last year (second entry 2017) to help ease some of my worries, so I was hoping to give back a little to the incoming year of...

I'm not sure how many people have been accepted but I don't think they will tell you your standing unfortunately. When I received my acceptance to Mac I had 2 weeks to make a decision. At that point I hadn't heard from any other schools so I accepted...

It works out to be 3.3 so a B+ on the U of T scale. I have a 3.45 on the 4.3 scale that my school does so technically I have met the requirement, but I'm worried conversions will lower it. I checked the OMSAS scale that the med schools use and I shou...

Does anyone know if U of T performs grade conversions on final transcripts? I'm worried my final year of study GPA is too low to satisfy the condition on my acceptance. I have the required average at Queen's University but sometimes schools change th...

Thank you for the reply, every little bit of info or perspective definitely helps! Good luck with your choice as well, I think in reality there are no "bad" choices, so take some comfort in that! :)

Unfortunately I can't offer anything helpful in terms of your question, but I was curious what made you consider Western and Mac over U of T? I am trying to decide between Mac and U of T right now and feel like I'm going crazy trying to make a choice...

Hey PHealthNurse, Thank you! :) I think my last 10 credits worked out to be about a 3.45 from Queen's University. To be honest, my grades REALLY were not my strong suit I think, I'm definitely at the cut off edge for grades. My grades were finalized ...

I haven't received any further info, I think that we get more info about a lot of stuff in June, things like setting up our email etc. so I imagine as they have the list of people attending confirmed they will send more info. Sorry for no concrete an...

Just curious if anyone has been able to find stats about program size, number of people accepted sort of thing, or number of applicants for any of the universities offering the 2-year programs? I've been coming up short on the search. Mostly just cur...
