   You're saying they have to verify education prior to issuing a temporary license. If they know you're a qualifying nurse, why not just issue the permanent license? The whole idea of a temporary license makes zero sense to me.

   Wow, that was fast. I mailed my application around February 17, my check cleared March 16, and I'm still waiting. Two weeks ago my status showed pending, missing education. Now it just shows pending open.

   I'm waiting for that same answer. I've read that English counts, but haven't heard directly from the BON. A couple of weeks ago my status said pending, missing education. But now it just shows pending. I mailed my application the week of February 17....

   Well, I do know the temp is only good for 6 months. So if I hadn't completely the classes, it would expire, and I wouldn't get the permanent license. I guess I don't get how/why a temp is issued, if all requirements are fulfilled.

   I applied for endorsement from NV a few weeks ago, and then read I need communication credits. Anyone know if I can get a temporary license while taking the classes?
