   "just being a registered nurse"...YOU must not be a nurse. And suggesting we are only an extra set of eyes is ludicrous. I work CVICU, pts fresh out of bypass surgery with balloon pumps, CRRT, 8 drips & 80% mortality rate....Doctor at home in bed...

   Where do you live? What type of nursing do you do? I made 90k last year in southwest MO as a CVICU staff nurse on nights, we have a relatively low cost of living, I've been a nurse for 15yr and I worked 90hrs every 2 wks. My hubby 20yr nurse manager ...
