    I am doing my CPR/BLS at a local fire department. It's cheaper and associated with AHA. I would recommend calling them. Some don't do it in a classroom, which makes it shorter than the 4 to 6 hours and more one on one.

    well that sucks to know. BTW, for anyone who may know this: 1) As far as the flu shot... is there anyway at all to opt out of it? 2) Has anyone taken the CPR/BLS classes elsewhere that is not at MDC? If so, where and how much? Thanks!
