Neil Niren MD

Dr. Neil Niren MD is not only a leader in the field of Dermatology, in whole State of Pennsylvania, but he is also a pioneer of new technologies aimed at improving the lives and looks of his patients. This has made Dr. Niren a part of the vanguard of modern dermatological methods, including the latest laser technologies. A respected authority in his field, Dr. Neil Niren is an advisor and educator for different types of laser systems. He is constantly seeking out newer, safer ways of helping his patients from Pittsburgh area, which means keeping up with the latest technologies and listening to patients’ needs. Neil Niren MD completed his undergraduate and medical training at the Creighton University School of Medicine in 1978, and received his training in dermatology at Harvard University – (Cambridge Hospital). He is a Fellow of the Cook County Hospital, Fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatology and International Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is a member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, the Illinois State Medical Society, Chicago Dermatologic Society, the International Society of Dermatological Surgery, Pittsburgh Academy of Dermatology and the American Contact Dermatitis Society. Prior to opening his private practice, Dr. Niren was an Assistant Professor at Schering Plough Pharmaceutical. His practice consists of both general OHIP and cosmetic dermatology, and he also upholds an active role as a primary investigator for various clinical research trials. Neil M Niren has also co–authored Skin Care, a book that explains Cosmetic surgery and procedures.
