@msndiamond Classes can range anywhere from 8am to as late 5pm depending on the faculty availability. Our first summer semester we had pathophysiology until 7pm ish on one day of the week. Clinicals usually begins at 6:45am and ends at 2:30-3pm thoug...
Talking about misconceptions and expectations (reiterating what other ELMs have said): 1) You may feel at some point in the program that you don't understand or get everything and that's okay. The program is designed to make you learn the bare minimu...
Keep in mind also you will be signing a contract saying that you agree not to work at all during the first year of the program (pre-licensure). After you are licensed you are allowed to work 0.5-0.6 FTE for the final year of the program (MSN portion)...
Hi Kocono, I believe during orientation they can give you a more detailed look at the program costs. It looks like the total cost over 2 years is about $70,000. You can go to their website to find out more here Program Cost | Master of Science in Nu...
Hi bsnhopefulmj, With BSNs I'm not entirely sure to be honest, since I work in the grad admissions office. I would imagine there is a sort of rubric they use since there has to be objectivity in order to find out who is the most competitive. I think ...
Being waitlisted does not necessarily mean you are rejected. In the very beginning they weed out all applicants who do not meet minimum criteria. After that, they have a grading rubric with an actual numerical score that scores you on GPA, GRE, Recom...

All I've heard is that they've increased available spots from 20 to 24. I don't think there is a way to find out waitlist position unless you emailed them directly. Even then they may or may not give out that information. That would be really nice if...

I received a status update saying I was not admitted. I'll be attending PLU this June then! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back and also with all your future endeavors!

Congrats on getting in! I didn't get an interview for community public health so I'll just assume I can't get in because with how many applicants are applying the waitlist must be really long even if people drop out. Wishing you all the best of luck!

I haven't heard back from Community Public Health track yet. I was offered admission to PLU so I will probably go with PLU since their deadline is Feb. 28 to accept or decline (or else they can offer spots to those on waitlist).

I haven't received mine yet either. I'm also out of town for the next 10 days so I will be relying on my roommates to keep an eye out for it when they check the mail. I went ahead and submitted my deposit and acceptance online. I doubt I will get i...
