   I guess the NP path would be if i didn't get a residency. I heard even that had become very competitive and now that I'm almost done with my PharmD school, I have no idea what I should do as a back up.

   Thank you for your response. Teaching pharmacology to nurses is actually an interesting idea.. I still have 2 years left as a pharmacy student so I will stick it out and give it a chance before switching to another path.
