   Now this patient came in for elevated blood sugar but she's also has a history of pancreatitis. I guess that's what worried me more.i don't think I touched the dried blood but it made me a little nervous

   Have you ever touch a side rail and saw dried blood or touch a counter and saw dried blood? Do you panic? Or just simply sanitize or wash your hands. What's the chances of transmitted infection if the blood is a few hours old

    I don't think it was full. I think it was the secondary tubing that got it stuck and messed up the mechanism.

    Sometimes these daniels smartsharp containers are not on the best place on the wall and you can bump into them. Are you at risk bumping into a full sharp container that doesn't retract anymore?

    Hi and thanks. But I honestly think it was the flush that splattered on me being that it couldn't go in the IV. Plus it was through an IV port which wasn't the closest to the patient
