   They basically told us that a couple weeks ago they decided to open 24 more seats for the program, which is why some people received rejection letters and then later acceptance letters.

   I just found out that the Affordable Care Acts requires that insurance cover your titers as long as your PCP bills them as 'routine.' Might be worth it to get a new PCP for this...

   Well then, I feel much better about not having everything ready in time for orientation. I was told that if I'm not compliant by orientation on Aug 10, I can't register for classes... which would be a bummer.

   I'm also signed up for the CPR class tomorrow. I only did my fingerprints today and when I left the place they told me it will take 3-5 days for Miami Dade College to get the results... which means I won't have everything done and uploaded to complio...

   My insurance covered the titers so I did everything with my family doc. You can also do it all at the school's clinic for $225.

   Congratulations!! I was told on the phone that orientation is at 8am on Aug 10th at Medical Campus room 1175. But I haven't received any email about this or anything in writing.

    I thought they said we have til mid July to find out??
