Yes I do, however I am rectifying things by returning to professional school this fall. I should have done my research before pursuing nursing. If I had I would have realized that my personality, aspirations, goals, and lifestyle were a very poor ...
I've never understood this type of behavior. Afterall don't RN's realize in the eyes of many well educated, well compensated professionals we are just ---wipers? I have heard many of my professional friends make very unflattering comments about nu...

No, I would not recommend nursing. However, if nursing is someones passion I would not try to dissuade them from choosing nursing. Low pay, little to no respect, no health care upon retirement, no pension upon retirement, etc..... Most nurses I know ...

Thank you Siri. So many regrets with nursing. This occupation is totally incompatible with my personality. Noone to blame but myself I guess (sigh) Wish I had known what nursing was really like. I never would have wasted my time or money on that B...
I have been a nurse for 6 years. I've known from my first clinical rotation that nursing was not for me. However, nursing was my second bachelors degree so I decided to stick it out until i could find my way back to my true love medicine. I will be e...
I will be attending med school in 06. Take it from me nursing and medicine are two VERY different fields. Do you desire complete autonomy, like making all of the decisions, enjoy critical thinking, prefer manual labor or intellectual pursuits? The...

I will be attending med school in the fall 06 (ie my moniker). Do nurses have any idea what true professionals (ie MD, JD, PharmD, MBA, DDS, DVM,PhD) have endured to earn the salaries and respect afforded to them by society? Does anyone notice any ...
