I have recently learned that NPs are included in some of the Mass hospital nursing unions. Prior to starting NP school, I was under the impression that I would not make the compensation of a Unionized Boston RN while practicing as a NP. Anyone want to mention the hospitals that do include Nurse Practitioners in their unions? And do the pay grades go higher than RNs?
It is coming back to me from many years ago, I remember being told that Tufts may include NPs in their union contract?

NPs are on a different scale than RNs. I believe Dana Farber's NPs are represented by the Union, not sure of where else. I have a grid of scales for various jobs at various facilities that the MNA sent me a couple years ago, but it's on my computer at home.

NP's working at any mass state hospital & centers are also covered by union under their own salary range and make more than RN's
I checked the spreadsheet I have from the MNA... NPs at the Brigham, St E's, Carney, DFCI, Tufts, Brockton Hospital, Cambridge Hospital, Good Sam, Norwood Hospital, Harvard Vanguard, Somerville Hospital and Whidden Hospital are all represented by the union. They also all have different wage scales and make more than RNs.
