Simmons Accel. 18-mo BSN?

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi! Is anyone else planning on attending the accelerated BSN program at Simmons this summer? Any Simmons grads have some words of wisdom? Any opinions on living off or on campus?

I'm graduating with my first degree on Saturday and then starting at Simmons at the end of June. I can't wait! :nuke:

I go to Simmons now but transferred into the 18 month program which I'm starting in 2 weeks. I'm sure we'll have classes together. Are you going to the orientation in a week, on the 23rd?

Get ready to work your ass off! The summer is not bad so try to enjoy it because the first semester is a ton of work. It's a great education and challenging. Good luck!

I second that....it is A LOT of work, but pays off in the end!! Enjoy the summer and winter breaks.

Hi I was wondering when you say that Simmons nursing accelerated bsn program is hard what do you mean? Do you mean hard in understanding the concepts, or hard exams, or hard projects, or time consuminf, or hard meaning too many information given too students at once, let me know:nurse:

Since it is accelerated, there is a lot of work in a short amount of time- reading/exams/papers as well as clinicals and class that are time consuming. The classes are very challenging, but that can vary from class to class and also it depends on what kind of student you are.
