RN-BSN

Hi,

I know you said MA, but I am doing my RN-BSN at Rivier University in NH (close to the MA border), and absolutely love the school. The staff are VERY caring and want you to well. They do everything possible to encourage the students and offer additional assistance as needed! I feel like I am not just another check for them, I feel like they truly care about the students. I went to UMASS Lowell several years back and had a terrible experience there, all they care about is taking your money and non of the administrative staff has a clue about what they are doing! It may have changed since then.

Rivier is all online if you want it to be, but they also have some hybrid classes too, depends on your preference. I would seriously look into it!

Thank you. I am going to look into it. I'm open to anything at this point. Doesn't have to be in MA, it's just where I live. I'm in a program that worries me now so I just want to make sure to pick one that is the opposite when it comes to BSN.

I know several people who did Curry's and one person who teaching at Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in their RN-BSN program. My alma mater (Boston College) has one but I think it's relatively small- I had one woman in my community health class who was doing it.

Salem state university has a pretty good program. I did LPN to BSN there and totally love it.

I didn't realize MCPHS had RN-BSN! My building is literally across the street from them. Hmmmm

MCPHS does have RN-BSN - it's online (with the exception of orientation!) :-) (and for clinical requirements, it seems like you find a placement and they approve it... though they may be able to help!).

I'm in their post-bac ABSN program! I don't know anyone offhand who did the RN-BSN but can ask around!
