MCPHS ABSN 2018

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hello-

I wanted to start a thread for applicants applying for 2018. I recently applied and I am anxiously waiting for a decision!

Hi! I was accepted without Chem II, I'm taking it this summer

@AVB913 My app was completed on 1/30 (I got an email saying it was in review). I was accepted 3 weeks later

AVB913, Thank you! My application was completed in late January and I found out in mid to late February. A little less than a month. Good luck!

Hi! I have a question..I just submitted my application on the NursingCAS, and completely forgot to send in my transcripts like an idiot. Who do I send them to? NursingCAS? or to MCPHS? thanks in advanced!

Hey samking1776, I was also recently accepted into the MCPHS Manchester absn program. I was wondering what your rooming situation will be? I was also accepted into MGH IHP which starts this May. I am concerned about the cost of living in Boston and the overall cost of the program. Trying to make my decision between the two programs

Hi all,

I am interested in the MCPHS programs. Does anyone have any idea which one is easier to get into? I'm assuming both are probably the same regarding difficulty of getting in.

Soooo how is everyone funding this program? Lol I just received my financial aid package for $10,000. I think the tuition is around $63,000 😩.

Is any one looking for roommates?

@Jenel12006 lots of loans and trying not to think about it haha. I may get a part time job during the program at some point, even if its just nannying on the weekends. Also, I was hoping to live off campus but gave in and submitted the on campus housing deposit. Is anyone else doing the same at Worcester?

Yup! I chose to live on campus as well because I don't want to stress about rent every month. And I'm taking out a lot of loans too, but am wondering what banks I should apply to. I don't have a co-signer at the moment.

I got some through FAFSA the rest I'll probably be doing through Sallie Mae, not the greatest but its what I already have to pay off my undergrad

Hey guys, whats all the application material needed to be mailed to the campus? Just transcript and letter of recommendation? Anything else? Also how long after you guys submitted your applications did you hear back with a decision?

I'm curious to know the answer to this as well. I am applying for Worcester Spring 2018 and just submitted my application. I know they require transcripts, and a recommendation, but is there an essay, application fee, etc??
