im a mother of one, went thru a lot just like any other human being in this world. I recently have finished my CNA and taking my CNA State test tomoro (8/5/14) Im veryyy nervouse!!!!!!!

I would like to start a pharmacy class which is holding in Boston, MA. but the lady im getting infos from are giving me run arounds (orso I feel like it is). I have wasted a lot of time and now, focusing on what I really want, I JUST WANT TO GET TO IT! the last time I spoke to the lady was today (8/4/14) she had told me they just had finished a session so next class should start very shortly in September 2014.

Im really depending on that pharmacy class, I would like to be in that workforce area. I believe the pharmacy class is only 6 weeks.

so, at the same time now, im thinking about either getting into LPN or RN.

of course I would have to be part time evening classes due to my child. But I need more infos, If I do RN at the MCC in Lowell for part-time evening classes, am I able to switch to day-time class after my 6 weeks of pharmacy class finishes?? or is it as, I sign up as evening & im stuck as evening???

& another, is it better to do LPN class before RN?

SOMEONE, PLEASE LET ME KNOW?

Best to do RN classes. The wait list at mcc for nursing right now is long. You should look into prerequisites first. I just graduated from their evening program and am now a RN.

The program was pretty good. Two nights per week and clinical every Saturday.

It is a three year commitment. Good luck with whatever you decide.... :-)

I would do the RN as well. There are a few schools that have evening classes to fit your needs. What kind of pharmacy class are you going to take?

I don't want this to come off harsh it is just an observation from a professional perspective, but you may be well served by taking an English composition class as well.

If you've just completed your CNA training and you're preparing to take the test for certification, why are you desperately seeking entry into a Pharmacy program while speaking of pursuing further nursing study in the same breadth? It sounds haphazard and disorganized. If nursing is your forte and where you desire to be, why are you looking elsewhere?

I would encourage you to spend time crafting a plan; one which includes alternatives if something should go awry and more importantly a definitive goal. If you're utilizing financial aid for these programs you may find yourself in dire straits down the road when the money is really needed for your nursing study if you proceed.

Best of luck on the exam. :-)
