- 0May 13, '12 by mallory4yes. for all classes that begin in NUR. you add $35 per credit. there is not a flat rate for the nursing program as many have led me to believe (including the brochure). So, if you have taken all or most of your co-req's. The nursing program will run you about the same (as far as tuition and fees) for a full year as you would pay to take a full-load (12 credits+) of regular courses at BHCC. About $5k per year. Because this way, if you have taken your co-req's before hand..you will only end up carrying about 9 credits a semester so the extra $35/credit will not be noticeable. The bigger issue here is the cost of nursing textbooks which are expensive. They quote the total cost of textbooks for all Nursing courses will be approx: $1500 and the cost of uniforms $200. Malpractice insurance $15/ year.
Then of course at the end of the program you need to pay to take the NCLX and licensing related fees.
The rates for tuition I have given here, reflect mass residency only.
Hope this was helpful.
