Any feedback on Brockton School nursing program?

Is it a BSN program? Do they offer an ADN program. I have most of my sciences completed in a year and already hold a bachelor's degeee. Curious if that would expedite standing in the program. How us the waiting list?

Hi, I go to MCC but my last two clinical rotations have been at BH, one was with a BHSN instructor and while there we used their classroom. BHSN has a really good program and reputation. It is a diploma program although you can obtain an associates degree through Fisher College which is affiliated. If you want a BSN, you would have to do an RN-BSN program after. The only thing that made me choose MCC was the cost. For me, I didn't want to be in more debt at my age. I could comfortably afford MCC without loans. From what I have seen, it (BHSN) is competitive but as long as you have the grades and do well on the entrance exam, you should be fine. Good luck!!

I heard Mass has a lot of part time program's. Don't want to move out of CT, but could make it easier to become a nurse.

Appreciate the feedback.

I am a BHSN grad and would highly recommend the program. It is a diploma program (the only one left in MA), but there is an AS from Fisher and an articulation agreement with Curry and other schools in the area. It is a very difficult program, but I felt comfortable when I graduated to make the transition to RN from student. I'd be happy to talk with you more if you PM me.

Yes. MA has several part time programs. Depending on where you plan to live you could decide which program to apply to. Here is a link for all MA accredited programs. The ones with the asterisk have part time programs.

^^^^Thanks for the info will check it out. Found out MA has several psychiatric facilities couldn't believe it one pays for your entire nursing education if you work 24 hour's with them a week. I work as a counselor in CT was debating dropping out of the psych field to go be a CNA to work night's, but maybe don't have to leave psych after all ha.

hello do you remember what the entrance exam was like? Is it mostly math? If you do not do well, do they revoke your acceptance? Or do you get placed into a course? I am great at math so I think I would do well, is there any area I should study to prepare? Also when is this exam taken? Can you take it immediately after being accepted or do they have certain dates?
