Which Maryland Hospital Do You Work At, and What Do You Think of It?

U.S.A. Maryland

Hi Marylanders :)

I am curious about the work culture and environments of Maryland's various hospitals. I wondered if any of you might be willing to share your general impressions or experiences about where you work (or have worked) and how you felt about it? Where was your favorite job? Where did you have the best pay? Best benefits? Best coworkers/management? Where do you perceive the most opportunities to be? Thanks in advance for any responses!

Anybody?? I know there must be some nurses here! It can't only be students, surely?

Sorry I'm also a student, but I am curious to hear what others say!

Also curious! Trying to bump this up :^)

Lol I was hoping that maybe once the school threads calmed down this might get some viewership, but so far...

I'm also a student but, as a patient, I've always loved GBMC. I did some volunteering there and everyone I worked with was really nice.

Specializes in ICU, Emergency Department.

I work at Montgomery General and I like it well enough. The people are great. It's a community hospital, so experience is limited, but it is a good environment and pay seems reasonably competitive for the area.

Specializes in PACU, ICU.

Sorry this never got any traction. I've worked at Johns Hopkins as a Nurse Extern/Tech and I LOVE it!
