CCBC Essex, Nursing Fall 2017

Hello All, deadline for Fall 2017 is just 3 more days left. I have applied only at CCBC and Towson hoping that they will accept me. I am not sure if I was supposed to apply in other colleges as well. Deadline for Harford's ATB is february 15. have any of you applied in multiple colleges? I would like to hear from you. pls share

Hey gtama, I only applied to CCBC Catonsville day and Towson for the ATB, you don't necessarily have to apply anywhere else unless there's another school where you want to go. This 6-8 weeks is gonna be the longest of my life! I'm ready to find out if I was accepted or not!

I applied to Essex evening/weekend program for the fall... these next 6-8 weeks are going to be excruciating! Does anyone know if we will get letters by email or regular mail? I know in the past they sent everything through snailmail but I saw somewhere that this time will be by email. If that's the case will we still get welcome packets, etc (hopefully!) through regular mail? Idk why but I prefer having all that stuff on paper... makes it seem more real haha

I think we will know by the last week in March, it's so far away though!!!! Also I believe we get an email and also something in the mail, I could be wrong though, I agree it would be nice to have an actual letter of acceptance too!!

Well just got an email saying I don't qualify for the program.

I only have Anatomy 109 (took it for dental hygiene) but apparently Anatomy 230 is required. I didn't know there were two "beginner" anatomy classes. Really a huge bummer but I should have paid close attention. Guess I'll just try dental again lol don't even have the ability to take the anatomy 230 even in time to apply in the fall unless it's offered this summer. I swear it's always something. Then my teas will almost be expired. I don't think I'll ever get a degree!

Has anyone gotten an email letting you know your application was received and to look out for notifications /acceptance/rejection via email? I was reading a thread from last fall and a lot of the applicants talked about getting this email

Thank you Kay1396. I planned not to apply anywhere else. I was thinking that applying to multiple colleges may increase my chances to be accepted in at least one of them. But I feel like I met all of their requirements, so I am just praying now. You're right, this 6-8 weeks will be the longest week indeed.

Hi Jglad,yes I received two emails from CCBC yesterday. One stated that my application is under review and the other one was sent right after the first email which said that my application was processed and is considered complete. I think everyone will receive this kind of email once they start to review our application.

Hey SQuinlin1 I'm sorry to hear it! keep your head up. I know how you feel, I've been doing pre-reqs for over three years now :banghead: , and I have been dreading the application process. I have a friend that got in last semester after two previous unsuccessful attempts. If this is truly what you want to do don't give up, stay motivated, and you will get in. :yes:

Hi Jglad I received the same two emails as Gtama yesterday stating my application has been processed and is considered complete, also that we will be notified of the admission updates and decision by email via the CCBCCAS.
