RUE isn't a college but a publishing company only, they print the study guides needed for the excelsior program. These companies can be very misleading , making people think they themselves grant degrees. You need to check out the excelsior website. Also there is a ton of info on publishing companies and also on Excelsior in the distance learning forum. Be cautious to signing up with any publishing company , they charge very high prices for study guides and you can purchase these on ebay for a little of nothing. You can also register on Excelsiors site and get frree content outlines.. Just do your homework before you sign....

There are a number of older threads here discussing folks' experiences with and opinions of Rue. It would be well worth your time to do a search and review them before you make a decision or commitment.

:yeahthat: I went with them and am sorry that I did. PM me for details.

:nurse:Thanks to all who reply, I will check E Bay and EC web page, It is a hard decision when you hear some students having a good experience and others the total opposite....

Word for word what I would have said - and am sure I have said many times! I wish we could get some big gaudy banner that just kept repeating this. (No disrespect for the OP - we just get many new comers with the same question). Good luck. You will find lots of support for Excelsior in the distance learning forum
