Anyone else dread going back to school this semester?

I am absolutely dreading starting Fall semester. I am half way through the RN program at a local college. I have to retake a nursing course this fall, I failed it by 2 points last fall. I am currently working full time and will be able to work part time when school starts. Just wondering if anyone else was dreading going back to school too?

OMG I think I forgot just how much I hate nursing school! Two more semesters, two more semesters, two more semesters, two more semesters.....

I don't go until january 08, but I am indeed dreading it. I'm interested in being a nurse, not a nursing student. LOL!

I can't wait for school to start!!! I have been so bored that I started working 60 hours a week and when I am home I tinker with a motorcycle. At least Nursing school kept me busy all the time. :w00t:hopefully it will become more exciting for you as well!

I'll be graduating LPN program this september...*i hope* But i do remember me dreading Peds/OB quarter... I don't do pregnant women nor them booger eaters ;). I set my Peds/OB book in flames the day i passed my final. Awefull!!

This semester coming up (Fall) I don't dread so much, all I have is a transistion class that is a general review of skills, and I have to do Advanced Physiology, so in terms of time its not so bad.

Now Spring semester is another story, LOL! that's one I am dreading to no end! I have 2 clinicals, both of which start at 0630. That wouldn't be so bad, but I have a 1 1/2 hour drive one way to clinicals. I just keep telling myself its one semester, I can do it!

You will be fine. I did this for all 3 LPN school semesters, ick, I had to get up at 3:30 am to get my morning chores done and be on site by 7. Once its done it doesn't hurt anymore, lol.

I just graduated LPN school, waiting to take boards. I am bored to death wish I was going to school soon.

I dread it so bad, I'm not doing it. My original goal was to do the LPN and then start bridging this month, but I'm no way in the mood for it right now. Going to school ,trying to take care of a house, two young boys, a husband and working, really turned me off to school at present if not forever. The 11 months in the LPN program nearly sent me to the funny farm. I wish you all the best of luck and am envious of your endurance, but I have none now. In a year rub it into me that your done and I'm not and please let me know how much of your sanity you have left, if any. (ha, ha) Best of Luck!!!!!!

Come January I just couldn't do it. I had to take a break, so I dropped my classes and just worked. I needed that semester to put my life back together which was a shambles after my PN program. Just to be able to really clean the house and sit down to read a book for enjoyment was pure bliss! I did take a couple of classes online this summer, but they were cake compared to what I had just gone through. I figure a break is well worth re-capturing my sanity before I jumped back into the pool.

Best of luck to you, you will get to the end soon, don't feel bad at all for taking a break. You have to have time to keep yourself charged up.

I can relate as well. I'm to start my last semester of the bridge program after labor day, but I'm having second thoughts. The last two semesters nearly cost me my sanity, and I dread jumping back in to that craziness again. I'm thinking about holding off this last semester till January.
