:mad::what::what: Hello everyone I'm new to this forum but I was wondering if anyone has been through the lpn program at the Tennessee College of applied technology? I'm trying to get in for the 2015-2016 program at the clarksville location. I'm at the final step where I took my compass test. I scored a 74 in math and a 93 in English. I do know that they are accepting 40 students. I believe close to 200 applied. Has any one went through this school or one similar? If so what did you score on the compass? How many people applied? How long did it take for you to know that you got in? Or if you can give me an idea of what it's like and what my chances are of getting in. Thanks in advance

Maybe try posting in the Tennessee section under U.S.? I don't have any experience with the program, otherwise I'd try to advise!

How do I post there this is my first day on allnurse

I went through TCAT-Dickson, but I live in Clarksville. I graduated April 21st and passed the NCLEX on June 10th. As far as the Compass test, I made a 93 on the reading and a 84 on the math section. I have a friend that scored a 99 on the Reading and 65 on the math and also got accepted. Your chances of getting accepted really depend on how competitive the applicant's scores are. There were several people who went to the information session, but for some reason or another didn't complete the process of applying. Make sure you turn in everything on time and that your application is complete. TCAT Dickson accepted 52 people, but 43 showed up on the first day. If you have any other questions just let me know. :-)

Omg thank you for responding so basically it's hard to say with my scores. How was the program was it hard

Shameka, please consider changing your posting name to something anonymous. You don't want to be easy to find later when you're applying for work or by faculty or admissions people. Yes, they do look.

And please use punctuation and no txtspk here. It's in our terms of service. We have members who do not speak English as a first language, and it's hard to read. For example, did you mean to thank that person for "responding so basically" or was it something else? Thanks! I look forward to hearing about your progress.

Okay thank you so much for your feedback. This is my first time here.
