What are some things we can buy that will make nursing school a little easier?

I'll post some things I plan on ordering so far:

  • Saunders Student Nurse Planner to write down all of my assignments/test dates. Also has nursing info and tips written throughout! :)
  • Nursing Terminology QuickStudy Guide
  • Anatomy & Physiology for Dummies - because I *really* need to brush up. I haven't taken a science course since high school. (cue embarrassed face)
  • Anatomy QuickStudy Guide
  • Littmann Stethoscope
  • Medical Terminology QuickStudy Guide

Anything else you guys think the rest of us students would benefit from? :)

When clinicals start, wear a really good pair of shoes that provide lots of support. Also support pantyhose. Get your hair cut or trimmed so it's

easy to care for. If you can afford it, buy a second pair of shoes and alternate them.
