TTC Covington 2014

Nursing Students LPN/LVN Students

I am interested in applying to the LPN program at TTC Covington, TN. I know it is a little early considering they are not taking calls about the 2014 program until January 2014, however, I am looking for anyone that might be applying to the program. I would like to have some people to talk to during the application process and such.

Also, if anyone has attended this program I would love to hear.... the good, bad and ugly.

Oh ok. I see! Well best of luck to you. I am just so worried about doing the LPN program because I feel like I will be back tracking since I already have a degree.

Hey there were plenty of people in my class with a degree already. There's nothing like the medical field! It's not back tracking at all. Just do whatever makes you happy :)

Do you remember what was on the Compass test?

It's been a couple of years since I took it...but I do remember it's basic math. Now that I've been in college, I look back and realize it wasn't as hard as I thought..basic fractions and that sort of thing.

Hey i just took the placement exam for them and passed. Now i just have to wait and see if im in the top percent. Have you scheduled a test date yet?

For the compass i felt like i had lots of percentage problems and story problems i had to set up. Then fractions with variables and square roots. After that it was square roots and stuff a little graphing and figuring out slopes but i scored out of pre algebra and algebra. So you not need to study roots as much. The first time i took it failed big time. I studied a little for two months then two days before studied all day both days. So studying and getting a refresh of the material will help.
