Taking classes while waiting??

The LPN program I have applied to is a year long wait list, I should be starting in September. This school also offers an RN bridge program, which I plan on doing as well. So, I have been working on those pre-reqs while I am waiting.

I am just curious what those of you waiting have been doing to occupy your time.

I am toying with taking next quarter off though...I have been taking classes consistently for 2 years now, including summers, and am feeling a bit of burnout. I know I need to recoup myself before the LPN program starts in September. The problem is, the RN bridge requires A&P classes to be no older than 5 years, and I really don't want to have to re-take those, so I feel a bit of pressure to get through it all before 2015 (I took my A&P's last year).

DH wants me to take it off, and relax throughout the summer, why can't I just relax and enjoy the wait???

God willing I will graduate this May from my lpn program. I am bridging too, I have two gen ed classes left to take before I can bridge, but I also have to work 1000 hours as an lpn before I can bridge. I plan on taking one class each semester while I work that 1000 hours part time, so when I get my hours in, I'll have my gen eds for the RN program all done and I'll be ready to go. I am taking this summer off, but only because the two gen ed classes I have left aren't held over the summer term.

Take the summer off and enjoy yourself... you will be PLENTY busy once your LPN program starts. :)
